THE EVERY DAY WOMAN
Every day
is the day of the woman
who works
because she loves
because she dreams
On the way
her feet go firm
in silence
breaking barriers
of discrimination
She swallows up her anger
to strengthen her soul
and convert it into pride
because she dreams
that the others will follow her
to the day of freedom
when she will be
a first class citizen
just as a woman.
